Frequently asked questions

Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions in connection with our parking systems.

The parking offense was committed by another person, what do I have to do?

If the vehicle registered to you was being driven by a third party when the parking violation was recorded, please provide us with the driver's contact details. We will write to the driver accordingly, as he or she committed the offense and the increased usage fee must be paid by him or her.

Please note: You are obliged to disclose the driver (see BGH ruling: V ZR 160/14).

If you do not wish to name the driver, our claim against you as the owner of the vehicle remains valid.

Where can I find your bank details for payment of my parking violation?

Please note that you can only pay parking violations by bank transfer. It is not possible to pay parking fees without a parking offense. In this case, the money will not be refunded.

Our bank details are
PRM ParkRaum Management GmbH
IBAN: DE58 7634 0061 0825 1076 03
SWIFT-BIC: COBADEFFXXX

Please remember to state the reference number as the reason for payment.

How can I pay my parking fees online?

You can pay your parking fees using the following link:

https://pay.arivo.app/

Please note that this is only possible within 48 hours of departure. After this time, you will receive a letter with additional charges.

Are your systems data protection compliant?

Our systems are GDPR-compliant. Information on data protection and the contact details of our data protection officer can be found at

How does parking space control work?

If parking enforcement officers are responsible for punishing violations, they issue a payment request ("ticket") after a violation has been detected and place it on the windshield, for example.

In a parking lot with automatic license plate recognition, entry and exit times are automatically detected and, in the event of a violation of the posted parking rules, the person concerned will subsequently receive a letter by post with a request for payment.

On what basis are you making your demands?

In public areas, the police or the public order office are responsible for parking violations, while we offer our services in private areas.

The owner has domiciliary rights in his parking lot. They determine the conditions under which drivers may use their parking spaces. If a driver drives into a private parking space, he concludes a contract with the controlling company for the use of the parking space. If, for example, the driver has not paid the specified parking fee or has exceeded the maximum parking time, they have violated this contract and a parking violation fee is due.
